Our golf club supports the provision of England Golfs commitment to improving inclusivity by reviewing and implementing equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) policies and member disciplinary procedures. We are now part of 60 clubs that have completed this process, which is an important term of affiliation to England Golf.

 

Grant and Natalie Matchett family owners of BFGC leading the review said ‘BFGC is a great club and it is known for its community spirit, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and we are a forward-thinking. We thought it was important to adopt the Equality, Inclusion and Diversity policies to help us spread the message and tell people that everyone is welcome and safe and secure here. We are already open to the local community using or facilities with a growing social membership and by adopting and displaying the policies on our website we can make sure this is known and we are accessible to all.’
